Sikkim (Gangtok)
Sikkim is a state in northeast India , bordered by Bhutan, Tibet, and Nepal . Sikkim is a smallest state part of the Himalayas the area has a dramatic landscape that includes India’s highest mountain 8,586m Kangchenjunga . Sikkim is also home to glaciers, alpine meadows and thousands of varieties of wildflower steep paths lead to hilltop Buddhist monasteries such as Pemayangtse which dates to the early 17005.Sikkim is the 22nd state of India came into existence with effect from 26th april, 1975. Sikkim has been divided into four districts and each district has futher been bifurcated into two sub – divisions for administrative purpose . The highest portion of Sikkim lies into north west direction . A largest number of mountains having altitudes of about seven thousand meters

Gangtok
The capital city of Sikkim, Gangotk is nestled in the Eastern Himalayas and is one of the kaleidoscopic tourist destinations in the state. For the nature lovers, a holiday lovers and this scenic city is enough to fulfill all their wishes.
Yuksom
Yuksom is the Western parts of Sikkim, is a origin of several enthralling treks into the Himalayas or the magical Mt. Kanchenjunga. Also known as the ‘Me Lamas’, this Sikkim’s village has recently started gaining tourism attention.
Tsomgo Lake
On a visit to Gangtok, do not miss the chance to visit the Tsomgo Lake or the Changu Lake.It is the highest lakes in India. Communication /Connectivity
Air Transportation : Sikkim currently does not have any operational airports or railheads because of its rough terrain. However, Pakyong Airport the state's first airport, located at a distance of 30 km (19 mi) from Gangtok, is expected to become operational in March 2016, after its completion was delayed from the original target of 2014.
Roads Transportation : National Highway 31A and National Highway 31 link Siliguri to Gangtok. Sikkim National Transport runs bus and truck services. Privately run bus, tourist taxi and jeep services operate throughout Sikkim, and also connect it to Siliguri. A branch of the highway from Melli connects western Sikkim. Towns in southern and western Sikkim are connected to the hill stations of Kalimpong and Darjeeling in northern West Bengal. The state is furthermore connected to Tibet by the mountain pass of Nathu La.
Rail : Sikkim Railway Project has been launched to connect the town of Rangpo in Sikkim with sevoke on the West Bengal border. The five-station line is intended to support both economic development and operations, and was initially planned to be completed by 2015 though as of 2013 its construction has met with delays In addition, the Ministry of Railways proposed plans in 2010 for railway lines link.
Climate of Sikkim
The state has five seasons winter, summer, spring, autumn, and a monsoon season between june and September . Temperate climate in summer is 28 c (82 f) in winter is 0 degrees celsius to 4 degrees.
